The Sweater is made of 16oz vintage American made ishan acacia wool, hand knitted in Ireland circa 1951. This sweater has been worn through the years and has a few little wrinkles from being washed numerous times over its many decades. People have started to notice and begin to recognize the personal touch with this shirt. There is a kinda retro look about it which I like, but there is also some modern sensibility incorporated into that idea. The design itself is very interesting, yet simple enough for me to not be bothered by it at all. It’s a throw back piece rather than anything more expensive in terms of quality or craftsmanship. I think that you can get away with throwing a big chunk of cash on such shirts and expect them to last forever but I completely understand why people are hesitant to spend that kind of money when they don’t know what they were going for in the first place, so…I just wanted an easy way out there if something didn’t come out as expected, if someone will buy then either pay extra or not sell at all…

This is a 1950’s Lips original parts shirt. This is the brightest spot of this century in my opinion and has two minor differences to it that make it stand out. This shirt is a great gift for that person who loves the Irish made 1951 Original Parts. It comes in two different colors so you can personalize it to your liking.
