I am a proud and loving mother with an autistic son who loves to talk and make music.He has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder through testing at the beginning of his life as he was very shy and always had difficulty speaking or making friends, but now he’s just a happy little boy! I love my son so much that I will not let anyone ever change my view on what being disabled means to me. I always like to be able to express my feelings about being an autistic male. This is the shirt I was seriously pained at having to have his hair cut without a blemish on it, which I found nonsensical considering he’s a boy.

I am proud to be an autistic little human. I am a transgender boy with autism who lives my life as a girl and I love it! I don’t know what gender i will become yet but equally loving and important are all my parents say is perfect for me. This shirt represents that. As an autistic person, this shirt is incredibly important in my life because it can make me feel normal again like before the time when my parents had to constantly tell me “You have chicken pox, you have measles” or even “I can’t clean your room anymore because you’ve got chicken pox and we’re splitting up.” It shows that while there’s still some things we cannot control or understand, eventually we will get over those things; after all, if our friends come visit us, they’ll see how amazing we really are. I want my son to know that he is not just an freak but a proud Autistic that He Love and care for. I chose his name because it was the first word I heard from him on the internet when we started dating.

I love my autistic son. I really give him a hard time sometimes about not wearing anything for school but then he does it anyway because he thinks if you don’t like something, you should buy it and everything’s fine. So obviously there are times where I wear stuff that doesn’t meet the criteria of being an “autistic” item but other than that I just wear sweaters to school and we all know what happens to a good sweater in the summertime.
