This represents all things great about African American history and culture. A part of us that is always doing, not just yet. I love the fact that the T-shirt is printed in black. This t-shirt is made by a company in Los Angeles, CA. The label has “Juneteenth” on the front and back of the shirt and it looks like there’s a peace sign inside too. Juneteenth Shirt is a dark blue, long sleeve shirt with the “Juneteenth Movement” printed in black and white on the back. It was created by Dr. Albert King who gives speeches around the world about his battle against inequality. The name of this shirt came from an event called Juneteenth which occurs each year on June 19th, 2014.
